How to Claim Rewards
Step 1. Visit the Teahouse App
Website: https://vault.teahouse.finance/
Step 2. Select the incentivized vaults
Vaults with rewards display a "Boba Icon" next to their APR.
Step 3. Start Depositing
Please see the Deposit Guide to learn how to deposit funds.
Step 4. View Your Rewards
After successfully depositing your funds, your position will be visible under "My Assets" on the right-side panel.
Over time, when your rewards accumulate, you will be able to view the accumulated rewards in the rewards section.
You can view the detailed information regarding reward allocation if you hover over the (i) icon next to "Rewards."
Rewards are accumulated by the second and refreshed on-page each hour. Please note that the number of rewards shown on our DApp is the total amount of rewards and not per share or per user.
Step 5. Claim Your Rewards
Click on the Claim button to claim your rewards.
When to Claim Your Rewards
The Teahouse team allocates one hour to process and calculate users' reward shares before the rewards are available for claim. Below are a few simplified examples to help you understand how this works.
Example 1:
User A makes a deposit at 1:00 and their funds have accumulated for approximately an hour by 2:00 (Period X). The rewards for Period X are calculated starting at 2:00 and the rewards will be available for claim at 3:00.
Example 2: User B also makes a deposit at 1:00 and their funds have accumulated for approximately an hour by 2:00 (Period Y). The rewards for Period Y are calculated starting at 2:00 and the rewards will be available for claim at around 3:00.
User B makes the 1st Claim at around 3:00, claiming all rewards accumulated during Period Y. Since User B has already claimed all rewards accumulated between 1:00 and 2:00, the rewards restart accumulating at approximately 2:00:01. If they want to wait 2 hours (Period Z) for rewards to accumulate this time, they can make the 2nd claim for the rewards at 5:00.
Simply put, users can claim all rewards accumulated one hour after the previous hour (on the hour).
E.g., At 5:43, the user can claim all rewards accumulated up till the hour before, which is 4:00. E.g., At 12:07, the user can claim all rewards accumulated up till 11:00.
Consequently, users are advised to return to claim their rewards 1 hour after their Target Time.
Teahouse employs this claim mechanism to mitigate the risks and uncertainties associated with the blockchain, ensuring the accurate disbursement of rewards to users.
Once the reward period concludes, users are required to return after an additional hour to claim any outstanding rewards.
